Margin Trading - Withdrawals resulting from losses or fees during Margin Trading

If you suffer losses or pay a fee during margin trading, these payments are categorized under withdrawals.

In order to take this into account for tax reasons, the pay-out must be classified as a margin trade loss or fee on exchanges that are not linked to the direct import. This loss or fee can be considered for tax purposes.

This can be done by clicking on the 'Edit' button in the 'Data' tab of the withdrawals.

A processing window will open in which pay-outs can be classified.

Select “Margin Trading Loss” or “Margin Trading Fee” from the drop-down menu.

Besides withdrawal classification, data entry can also be added using direct import, API, and CSV/XLS import.

Losses or fees from margin trades can be added via generic import.
